This is an absolutely gorgeous amethyst crystal geode section from the famous amethyst mines near Artigas, Uruguay. It is filled with purple amethyst crystals and a large calcite crystal. The edge of the geode has been polished to reveal the underlying agate.

This beautiful specimen includes the custom metal display stand shown in the photos. Note: If you would like your stand repainted with a solid black, textured coating, please include "paint stand" in the instructions upon purchase. There will be no additional charge for painting the stand, however it may take an extra day for your specimen to ship.
