This is an amethyst crystal geode section with stalactite-like formations from the famous mines near Artigas, Uruguay. It features many shimmering amethyst crystals and comes with a custom metal stand that it sits in for display. Some of the formations that resemble stalactites have been cut and polished to reveal the inner structures from which the amethyst formed.

On its stand, the total height is 11.7" and the edges of the geode section have been polished to reveal the mineral formation beneath.
