1.8" Polished Chevron Amethyst Flat Pocket Stones

This is a polished chevron (banded) amethyst flat pocket stone. There is some variation in exact size, shape and patterns but they average about 1.8" in width. They are flat on both sides and approximately .25" thick.

Chevron amethyst, also frequently marketed under the names dream amethyst or banded amethyst is a combination of amethyst and white quartz in a banded and often v-shaped pattern. It is found in large veins in the rock (not individual amethyst crystals) and often tumbled or polished.

The stone is polished into an oval shape and is rounded on all sides. Polished stones of this size and shape are generally referred to as pocket stones as they will easily fit into a pocket. The pictures are representative to the stone you will receive, but there is some variation in colors and patterning.
