1.4" Miocene Fossil Gastropod (Helix) Cluster - France

This is a 1.4" cluster of beautifully preserved fossil gastropods (Helix arvernensis) from a Miocene-aged deposit in Montaigu-le-Blin in central France. Its matrix is composed of numerous smaller gastropods! It has been mounted to an acrylic display base.
