.3" Fossil Beetle (Coleoptera) and Crane Fly (Tipulidae) - Utah

This is a .3" long fossil beetle (Coleoptera) and a fossil crane fly (family Tipulidae), among a variety of additional unidentified insects, collected from the Green River Formation of Utah. While this formation is best known for well preserved fossil fish found in Wyoming, other sections of the formation contain a very diverse flora and insect fauna.
