These are Eocene aged fossil leaves from Rhus sp., a sumac and and unidetified leaf. The Sumac leaf is 2.1" tall and the other is 1.1" (including the stem) and on a piece of shale matrix. They are beautifully preserved with crisp edges and a nice dark color. Fine details are easily seen on the Sumac leaf.
