7.9" Amethyst "Jewelry Box" Geode
Words can barely describe how beautiful this specimen is in person. It is a dark purple amethyst geode from Artigas, Uruguay which has been cut open, polished, and mounted on a stand allowing both halves to be displayed. The amethyst crystals are about as nice as they come, undamaged with a gorgeous purple coloration.
The geode half (base) dimensions are 7.9 x 6.7 x 4.6". The dimensions of the lid half of this geode are 6.8 x 5.6 x 3.4". On the stand, the entire specimen is 13.2" tall. There is a repaired crack through the "base" geode half.
We import our material directly from the mines in Artigas, Uruguay and it is much darker, higher quality material than you normally see for sale.
