Aesthetic Cluster Of Four Trilobite Fossils - Hollardops & Austerops
This is a beautiful natural association of four Devonian trilobites, featuring a 2.8" long Hollardops accompanied by three Austerops trilobites. The fossils are nicely preserved and arranged across both sides of the limestone, creating a visually striking, multidimensional display.
The surrounding rock has been skillfully sculpted to showcase each trilobite, highlighting their intricate details while maintaining their natural association. With less than 1% total restoration, this is an excellent collector-quality specimen. The base has been cut flat, allowing the piece to stand upright on its own without the need for a display stand.

About Trilobites
Trilobites were a very diverse group of extinct marine arthropods. They first appeared in the fossil record in the Early Cambrian (521 million years ago) and went extinct during the Permian mass extinction (250 million years ago). They were one of the most successful of the early animals on our planet: over 25,000 species have been described, filling nearly every evolutionary niche. Due in large part to their hard exoskeletons (shells), they left an excellent fossil record.
